    Western blotting

    Hello guys!!
I am having problems using one antibody that worked very well for me in the past. The problem is as follow: I have used this antibody and always had ONLY one band at 22-23 kDa. Recently, many of my blots (not all) showed the apearance of one more band very close to the one I had before, wich makes quantification of my protein expression almost impossible. Can you please help me to find out what could be the real cause of that problem.
Any recomandation would be very very welcomed as it will help me to move forward in my
    experiments. Thank you very much,
    Sincerly,

your sample buffer for SDS_PAGE is getting old, try to use fresh prepared sample buffer when you prepare samples before loading to the get.

    Good luck!
