RNA isolation

I was isolating RNA from samples taken every hour from bacillus subtilis batch culture, keeping the OD same in all samples. But i can only see strong bands (ribosomal RNA) for one of the sample which is taken after 3 hours. Even the exponential phase is up to 6-7 hours, the bands are not clear or visible for any other samples. I repeated the experiement twice and the results are the same. What could possibly be wrong?
