Several scientists at Whithead, MIT, DFCI, and EPFL are making their plasmids for Mammalian RNAi studies available at Addgene's non-profit plasmid repository. Academic laboratories could request these plasmids at

    www.addgene.org/rnaitools

Addgene is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the sharing of plasmid constructs described in published literature. Addgene is recommended by Cell, all the journals of Cell Press, JCB, and other top-tier journals.

Scientists deposit plasmids at Addgene, and Addgene takes care of archiving data and samples and answering requests for plasmids from scientists world-wide. Addgene provides request summaries to the depositing scientists. Addgene will also work with the depositing institution's technology transfer office.

Addgene invites the research community to use Addgene to share the plasmids they need for their experiments. Please visit www.addgene.org to find plasmids you may need for your experiments, and to find out more about depositing plasmids at Addgene.
