averages with fold changes in real-time pcr

    Hello to all!

My doubt is on how doing you come up with the information obtained by means of real-time pcr. I need to do averages of fold changes for the statistical analysis, but suppressed fold changes exist (minors of 1, for example 0.2) and I do not know if treating this information as negative values (-1/0.2 =-5) or making a logartmic transformation of all data (log 0.2) and making the average with them.

    Thank you!
