    glataraldehyde for cell fixation

I would like to know what you think about fixation of the cells with glutaraldehyde. How harmful can it be for the antigenicity and cells. Is it better to use paraformaldehyde or just ice-cold methanol.
Do you think it is possible that after fixation with methanol there is still clustering of adhesion molecules when labeling them with primary and secondary antibodies and that after fixation with paraformaldehyde or glutaraldehyde this would not occur.
Thank you for any useful information.
