Metalife Finder is a powerful tool for biomedical information retrieval from numerous databases. Due to the functional integration of individual databases and preliminary grouping of similar database categories, the application offers both simultaneous querying of several databases and cross-database browsing, which ensures comprehensive data investigation. The options for selection of search categories combined with Boolean operators usage makes search engine extremely flexible and useful for fast and accurate results finding. Metalife Finder shares a common work environment with other Metalife applications, which extend the possibilities for further results processing in terms of protein and nucleotide sequences analysis as well as their additional annotation using Metalife text mining algorithms.
