Discovery in Molecular Immunology at UC Berkeley

    Hi Guys:

I was delighted to find this forum. This is a cool website and blog.

Just thought I'd share some exciting news in molecular immunology with you. Scientists at UC Berkeley have recently shown that a compound in broccoli is a potent activator of the immune response system with potent anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-cancer properties--making broccoli officially one of the most potent therapeutic plants known to man.

Diindolylmethane (DIM) from broccli has been found to be a direct modulator of Interferon-Gamma Receptors and IFN-G production.

More info on this is available at:

    Cheers,

    Mike
