    I am culturing primary rat brain microvascular endothelial cells, and I want to transient transfect DNA into these cells with liposome. I am eager to learn which reagent is more suitable for my study? Thanks for your kind reply.

    On commonly used cell lines:

    lipofectamine2000 - high toxicity, good efficiency, pricy;
    Fugene6 - medium toxicity, good efficiency, extremely pricy;
    Gencarrier - low toxicity, good efficiency, not pricy;
    GeneJammer - medium toxicity, good efficiency, very pricy.

    I'll suggest to use Gencarrier-1 first to see what happens on your cells - the one with higher rate of success while at the lower cost.
