Does anybody know where I can get a protocol for subcellular fractionation and which kit do you think is best?

If you are looking for culear/cytoplasm protein fractionation the Pierce has NE-PER kit. It's simple and quick and works fine for my purpose. The disadvantage though is there is around 10% cytoplasm protein contamination in nuclear fraction and it's somewhat cell type dependent.

No need for kits. Simple sucrose density gardient fractionation can often be adequate but it really depend what you want to do.

We do a lot of this sort of work. What are you trying to separtae and what degree of purity are you looking for?
