    Transfection of sw780 cells

Has anyone know a transfection reagent that work on sw780 cells (urothelial cancer cell line)? I've been trying to transfect sw780 cells for a while. I tried lipofectamine 2000 and gene juice. All cells are going in suspension when transfected or I still get extremely poor transfection efficiency. I would appreciate suggestions from people who have worked with this cell line before!
    Thanks,

Try Fugene. it is easiest on cells, I believe.

We have great success with LnCap, DU145 prostate cell line using gencarrier-1, efficiency can reach ~60%. It is the cheapest, least toxic and most effective liposome reagent in our hands compared to lipo2000, fugene-6, jetPEI, effectene or genejuice.
If gencarrier doesn't work out for you, try electroporation, nucleofector or viral vectors.

I have even better results with prostate cell lines using electroporation with GTporator solution. I is basically nucleofection, expression after 24h, but more than half price of Amaxa. Check it here [www.gentrend.cz] It works for sw780, LNCaP and PC3 getting 80% efficiency.
