    Quantification live imaging
Posted by: Renate (IP Hidden, New member, 1)

    Dear all,

I would have an important question concerning quantification in live cell imaging: Is it possible to do ratiometric measurements on structures which are under the diffraction limit (on average 4 pixels in size) and in addition move. For the quantification you would use only a few pixels and from frame to frame the structures would move. Is it possible to use averaged values or does the movement and limit of resolution introduce to many errors and artifacts?

    Thanks for the help,

    Renate
