    ABAE and RAW cells

I am having trouble getting good transfection efficiency for ABAE and Raw cells. I have tried different cell densities, DNA/reagent ratio and lipofectamine 2000 & superfect with not too much luck. Have anybody have a protocol and/or reagent that works well enough to test promoter activity. If so, please let me know what is your trick.

We have some success with GenCarrier-1 cell transfection reagent which allows us to be able to perform reporter assay on endothelial and macrophage cells. But remember to avoid serum, PBS and antibiotic during DNA/liposome formation and transfection (just follow manufacturer's instruction).

    Hi, 5'ATCG,

Thank you for sharing your experience. I'll try this reagent.
