cytotoxicity assay for suspension cell lines

I'm using K562 cell line to measure the cytotoxicity of Doxorubicin. But the sample processing is really complicated for the suspension cell lines. I want to use MTT assay, but I don't have a microplatic centrifuge. And the cell titer 96 aqueous one solution from promega is too expensive. Could someone give me some suggestions?

Try CCK-8 kit from Dojindo, go to their web site for detailed info.
