About Dialysis cellulose membrane size

Hi,
I have purified cardiac myosin protein from mouse. It's molecular weight is 200 kilodaltons. I would like to dialyse my protein as it contains high concentration of salts during purification. I wonder to know what pore size of dialysis cellulose membranes (any company product) are suitable for the purification of the above mentioned size of proteins. It would be grateful for me if you could provide me answer to my question. Thanks Raju

Here is a forum focusing on dialysis only.
[www.labdialysischat.com] It's a pretty active forum and you may find answer there. Good luck.

Selecting a membrane for dialyis, you need to insure that pore size of membrane are smaller than your Protein. A typical 3500MWCO or 3500Da membrane will clear the salt, and retain
the 200kDa protein inside the dialysis tool. see www.geba.org dialysis application for secure and efficient dialysis Maurice
