How to get my Antibodies for ELISA

    Hi there -

I have some transgenic plants and I want to look at the expression of a protein.

I want to use a sandwich ELISA. This is not a common protein.

To get my primary/capture antibody, I am going to go back and clone the gene into a fusion vector, then purify that protein and send it off somewhere to get antibody made.

I am new at this...when I send that protein to the company, can I get them to make both the capture and detection antibodies for me (these are different aren't they?) and will they be able to "label" the detection Ab for me?

What companies do this kind of work? I think I need both mono and poly Ab.
