i run 12%SDS PAGE (1mm thick, 16cm long, 15mA, 12degreesC overnight) for protein profiling of a gram negative bacteria
samples are prepared by boiling cell pellet in lammeli buffer. after staining i find that thebands in the middle of the lanes are distorted and wavy and arching upwards. while in rest of the lane the bands are straight. what can be the problem?
