    Carbamylation trains
Posted by: monsa (IP Hidden, New member, 9)

I got spots across the gel in my IEF. I suspect these are "carbamilation trains". I found on the web that they can be prevented by using a mix of urea and thiourea. What is the concentration range for both in the mix? Is there any other way to prevent this problem?
    Thanks,
    Monsa
