Protein extraction from solid matrix

Hi, I am trying to purify a protein from a PVDF or nitrocellulose membrane for MS/MS. Do you have a protocol to extract proteins from either membrane?

I usualy stain the PVDF membane and then locate the band of choice then cut it and send it for MS/MS analysis to perform tryptic cleavage and make it reasdy for MS/MS analysis. I would not recommend nitrocellulose as it will break done and cuase huge problems in the MS/MS. Good Luck!
