i am working on antifungal proteins from plant. I tried to precipitate the protein by acetone and ammonim sulfate. but there proteins are precipitated as well as protein are also indiacted in the supernantent analyzed by protein estimation test. while pellet after centrifugation do not contain my required proteins. what i do for this
    regards

I am working on low molecular weight cationic peptides. I performed ion exchange chromatography to separate cationic peptides from crude sample, but the problem is that my elute contains has high ionic conc. how can i do desalting and concentartion of my peptides by simplest means, as i don't have cut-off.

    Hi,
Cut off membrane is best option for desalting. if u dont have cutt off u may use organic solvants (acetone) for precipitation of proteins. if you have precipitated the proteins than solublize that in distalled water and than precipitate by organic solvant.
hopfully you will get your problem.
