prior to pptn step u shud try lil bit of high strnght salts like TICL nd Ammonium sulfate

i am doing S1 nuclease protection assay and iam not getting any degradation products other than the lane without S1 nuclease.
when i do precipitation iam loosing most of the counts. how to overcome this
