Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms for Biomedical Research

Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms for Biomedical Research (archive)

The SNP Consortium: Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms for Biomedical Research.

Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) are common DNA sequence variations among individuals. They promise to significantly advance our ability to understand and treat human disease. The SNP Consortium (TSC) is a public/private collaboration that has to date discovered and characterized nearly 1.8 million SNPs (Cold spring harbor lab).
