Please send me the details of the MTT assy interpretaion.By OD how I will corelate the cell proliferation and the cytootxicity of the biomaterail.

I have treated LNCaP cells (stable transfected with a cytoprotective protein, sCLU) with UVB and done colony forming assay on them and TUNEL. In TUNEL there was a protection effect, as expected, but not in colony forming assay. Can anyone help me explain the results I have?
