Freezing Cells
Does any of you have any experience in freezing (and storing) single
cells at -20 dgr.C ?
What happens if a cell suspension (with DMSO) goes trough a temperature
profile of -10 to -70 degr.C?
Do you know of any references

I put them in culture media with 10% DMSO,-80
for over night then liquid nitrogen for unlimited time,viability is always 95 to 99%. Rating: Good

To freeze cells, I put them in 90% heat inactivated calf serum and 10% DMSO.and directly at -20 for 2 hours, at -80 overnight and then in liquid nitrogen for unlimited time.
Like this I have a great cell viability.
