1 M CaCl2 (for competent cell)
1. Dissolve 54 g CaCl2ˇ¤6H2O in 170 ml distilled water. 2. Adjust final volume to 200 ml with distilled water. 3. Sterilize by filtration through a 0.22-micron filter. 4. Store in 1 ml Aliquot at -20 ˇăC.
