| This book came well packaged and like new! I'm going to keep this one.
I studied this book for my college anatomy and physiology class. Of course, you need this book to study--without it I would have been lost. There is so much information in this book, makes anatomy and physiology a little easier to learn.

Other recommenations:

I also used Martini's Anatomy and Physiology Textbook as an additonal source. This book filled in the gaps, pictures/digarams were excellent.

Also, Leonardi's, "Anatomy and Phsiology Study Guide: Key Review Questions and Answers with Explanations volumes 1, 2 & 3. The question were comparable to the kind I saw on my college exams... |

| This text is very informative. The layout is wonderful, spacing the text out with pictures so you dont get bored readinf. I like the diagrams and the applications manual. The AM has examples of what you are reading and clinical settings for diagnosing.
This is the most horribly written book with wordy descriptions and it would take about 10 pages to make one simple point. I suffered through the 6th edition for Anatomy 1 and 2. At the end of Anatomy 2, I brought that demon outside, poured perfume over it, and had a bonfire. I watched it burn and was happy to see it go. Any updated edition would only be more suffering. If the drop screen allowed me to give negative 10, I would have done so, gladly. |

| I love this book because it is extremely thourough. When I was in anatomy class I had to teach the course to myself because the professor never taught anatomy. So I studied from this book and I got an A in the course. It gets in depth about the macroscopic AND microscopic anatomy and describes the anatomy/physiology/functions/and detailed pictures. |

| Read book cover to cover in preparation for your renal exam during nurse anesthesia school. Usually required too.
This is simply the best in its class--a foundation of my medical education. The diagrams are excellent. Text explanations are clear, detailed, precise and, most importantly, succinct. When I die, bury me with Vander's Renal Physiology.
Real Physiology provides the basics needed for a medical school renal unit. By purchasing this book, a medical student is able to focus on the renal system in more detail than in some basic physiology texts. |

| You can use it if you install the Netscape Navigator in your computer. It won't work with Internet Explorer or Mozilla.
I think this book is great. The text is very up-to-date and comprehensive. The CD that comes with the book really helps cement the major concepts of the text in your mind. If you are a visual learner, this book is for you.
This Anatomy book provides great figures and tables that are easy to comprehend, unlike many other similar books. Explanations are given to clarify any question that the student may have. |

| This is the only reference book I have and need on Exercise Physiology. Most useful to me are chapters on performance enhacement, high altitude acclimatisation and physical training for seniors. The first few introductory chapters and the first few pages of each chapter remind me of my basic life sciences. The authors then focus on the application of cell biology to training. The thing I like most about this book, is that there is no "guru talk". Every piece of advice is based on currect research. The book is divided into 7 sections. 1. Nutrition, 2. Energy production, 3. Energy Delivery & Utilisation, 3. Enhancement of Energy Capacity, 4. Environmental Stress, 5. Body Composition & Weight Control, 7. Successful Aging, Disease Prevention. It's a very thick book, but the paper quality is high and the colourful illustrations make it a joy to read. However, this is not simple book for the average man on the street. There is nothing sensational here - just pure science. Readers without a background in the life sciences may not be able to follow.

| This is an excellent review for anatomy class. However, it is not really a coloring book, it is a study guide/workbook. There is another study guide that has the alot of the same material... Human Anatomy & Physiology (Study Guide)7th edition Marieb. So if you buy one, you don't need the other. My teacher had both listed as recommened and since I ordered them both through Amazon merchants over a month ago, I can not return one. There are some slight differences, so I will just use both for extra extra review.
Great tool for anyone taking A&P. Easy pictures to follow and great study questions. A must for passing this class.
This book was necessary for my schooling. Its good. |
