Frankly, I have never read an advanced textbook that is as well put together to cover the ground and yet does so in wonderfully readable style. Really an excellent book. These guys should do more textbooks. Their editing style is just wonderful. <br /> <br />The only negative comment I have is that most chapters have some weird typos and grammar. But I chalk that up to both editors speaking English as a second or third language, and many of the contributors being in the same boat. But that is really quite minor. If they could get someone involved in editing their books who is an excellent English proofreader they would polish their gem. <br /> <br />I strongly recommend this book for anyone interested in understanding viruses. | |
