I read page after page. I was at the last page when I recongnized.

This book is a cream of crops which came out from years of dedicated work by an outstanding researcher and educator of anatomy and evolution.

There are many traditional anatomy books which explain structure but sometimes readers were not satisfied with questions not explained by the books. Dr. Langdon faithfully applied sciences related with human evolution and explains human body structure and function from the unique perspectives of evolution.

If combined with traditional clinical purpose anatomy books, you will have very clear and precise understanding of anatomy.

This product did not work on Windows Vista or my Mac notebook. I would not recommend it to anyone! Don't buy it!

Great CD, even better if you have the book, goes perfectly. I would recommend this to anyone studying anatomy. Arrived promptly and in good condition

Online I did some research to see what books art schools and classes are using this one as well as a few others kept coming up! I am self taught due to time constraints, but I feel that though I didn't have a professor standing over me giving me advice, I could still gain a decent amount of information just by reading and applying the things learned in my drawing. The suggested exercises are invaluable and will take a while if properly done. I suggest using this book only after getting a basic understanding of anatomy, even though this book covers anatomy. Get a strictly anatomy book like Peck's, Richer's, or Goldfinger.

Recommended text for any figure drawing class, ages 14 to adult. Gives the artist many excellent samples of all mediums. The chapters devoted to basic anatomy are easy to understand and a pleasure to tackle for any ability level. Drawing is broken down into Four well illustrated categories : Structure, Anatomy(skeletal and muscular), Design, and Expression. A "best buy"!

My daughter ( 10th grade )is interested in persuing a medical career and she was thrilled with the information presented in this book. I also learned a great number of things about how the body functions and reacts to different things. This is a large book that will help her in her studys of the body.

This book is great. My husband had surgery and this book really helped me explain to the kids what was going to happen. It was also great being able to see the terms that doctors use...I knew the basics but did no have a good visual picture in my head. This book gives you that picture in clear easy to read heavy duty pages. I highly recommend this book.

This book is great for the price but really gives short shrift to the cat anatomy. The pictures and descriptions would be much more helpful if it emphasized more of the cat anatomy.

This book is great for those taking or teaching a class that uses cat dissection. This book does an excellent job of comparing and contrasting human and cat structures. The only problem is that it doesn't include every muscle in the cat and the human.

I am taking a course in human anatomy. One night, my cat decided to crawl up with me and look at the book. I started to wonder, what is the difference between human anatomy, and my cats?

My vet suggested this book. It's good for someone who doesn't know much about anatomy, and it does compare kitty's with your own. My only gripe is I wish the book had been in color.
