As a first time student of Microbiology you will need to supplement to this text. The paragraphs are dense. The charts are not helpful and there is failure to clarify many terms. The only redeeming quality of this book is some of the graphics.

	Atlas of Allergies and Clinical Immunology: Textbook with CD-ROM

Very well written, with lots of good information! Dr Fireman has put together a nice textbook with pictures typical for an office presentation, not the wildest extreme of tertiary care Dermatology. The images are high quality and the descriptions excellent. I found the pathophysiology and the clinical discussions more than I expected from an Atlas. This is not meant to be a comprehensive Dermatology text, but for the practicing non-dermatologist (I practice Emergency Medicine) it is a quick and thorough reference. I am very happy with it.
